Dr. LeighAnn Forsyth has over 14 years experience providing individual therapy to adults, adolescents,
and families who want to live a healthier and happier life. Her approach combines scientific findings
from cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavior therapies with a creative/intuitive healing process
that is individually tailored to each client’s needs, preferences, and circumstance. She helps
individuals change self-defeating behavior patterns, improve self-esteem, and begin to heal from life’s
challenges. She has published numerous articles in the areas of body image and health promotion.

Dr. Forsyth is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her doctoral degree from West Virginia
University and completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University School of
Medicine. She was on faculty at Cleveland State University and a staff psychologist at the Laurelwood
Hospital Eating Disorders Program. She currently is in private practice.
